In mid 2005, Jason Prolas, Alex Pley, Robin Funk, and Tom Cooper came together to form No Serenity. In the 3 years that they have been a band, they have played countless shows in and around the GTA, including the Living Arts Center, Playdium, assorted YMCAs, High schools across Oakville, The Kathedral, and The El Mocambo to name a few. NS has also been asked to play more than once at many of these locations, leaving a big impression on promoters and venue owners/managers everywhere.
The band finished recording their second EP "Not Ease EP" a couple months ago, but has decided to refrain from releasing it in full, as they have just acquired a new front man by the name of Naseem. Recording has commenced on their new full length album (name TBA), and also embark on a small tour of Ontario and Quebec in the summer. The full length has no name as of yet, but will be recorded with Kenta, who has worked with NS in the past and has also become a very good friend of the band.
It has been over 3 years now, but No Serenity still remains as a force to be reckoned with in the music world. With no end in sight, they keep moving on with the intention that one day the world will hear what they have to say.
Are you ready for the chaos?
