About Me

Panama Red. . . is a story of blood, sweat, and beers. Four suburban souljah's came together from different musical backgrounds. P-Red started as an excuse to party, but as experience, friendships, and a reputation grew.. a band was formed. A band meaning, an excuse to play shows, record, but most importantly party. The band quickly expanded all over the area, becoming a household name in the Burlington high school house parties and keggers, and shared stages with friends and headliners that have influenced the band greatly. Panama Red cant be labelled with a genre seeing as songs range through out many different styles, something for everyone. They'll play your party for free until their arrested or until you find them the next evening... yes, evening.
We are currently on our way with our first Studio album/EP/whatever you want to call it. It will feature re-recorded oldies and newly recorded newies. It will truly show the evolution of Panama Red, what we've come from, and what we are now, so be stoked

Panama Red, Panamanian Red,or P.R. is a cultivar of cannabis, popular among cannabis aficionados of the 1960s and 1970s, and renowned for its potency. The typically high THC levels associated with the variety are thought to be dependent on the particular cultivar, rather than the Panamanian climate. Its name comes from its cultivation in the country of Panama, and its claylike red color. Production was common in Panama's sparsely-populated Pearl Islands. It is known for causing a strong, racy, and intense psychedelic high. Cannabis culture died off in Panama with the rise of cocaine trafficking.
