Spending the next year on intensive indie studies; Philo, History etc. Attending U of Winnipeg Jan'07, getting into Education, Poli Sci, Psych.Love travel; Rome, Venice, Edinburgh, Northern Scotland, Dublin, Gallway, Aran Islands, BarcelonaCommunist/Socialist/Marxist/Trotskyist/Leninist/Gue varist/Synthesis/humanAcoustic/Electric guitar player... love teaching

My Interests

reading, political organization, writing, reading, reading, reading.... When I'm not stuffing my brain I'm playing guitar, acoustic, or watching this or that documentary. Spending 100% of my time in pseudo asocial studies right now... If I had a 'name' it would be "Deleuzian" - ie. marxist, spinozist, foucaultian, sartrean (existentialist turned marxist); in short, I'm a Multiplicity. Favorite quote: "One of the worst things about Foucault's death is that the idiots will come out of the woodwork and publish all sorts of stupidity they were too afraid to publish while he was alive." -Deleuze on the death of his friend Michel Foucault

I'd like to meet:

Anybody and Everybody... a closed mind is a door waiting to be opened.

Music:

Everything (almost)... Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, Trail Of The Dead, Bright Eyes (ESPECIALLY Bright Eyes), Nin, Neil Young, Dresden Dolls, Black Heart Procession, Nina Simone, Modest Mouse, RedSayNo (best local band I've ever seen in my life), Zeppelin, Cat Power, T Rex, The Decemberists, Querkus, Daniel Johnston, Nathan, Sonic Youth, Brahms, Rachaminov, The Doors, Beta Band, Nick Drake, Nirvana, Muse, Sigur Ros, White Stripes, Raconteurs, The Sadies, Yo La Tengo, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Regina Spektor, Sarah Slean, Edith Piaf, Velvet Underground.... so much music.

Movies:

Documentaries, J.L. Godard... hmmm.... well, I try to limit my intake of film these days, BUT, Nightmare Before Xmas, Edward Scissorhands, 2001 A Space Odyssey and LABYRINTH are definately 4 of my all time favorite movies.

Television:

evil... except John Stuart/Colbert Report... though in the grand scheme they're still an evil distraction from reality...

Books:

Trotsky, Lenin, Marx, Nietzche, Orwell, Virginia Woolf, Huxley, Bukowski, Jean-Paul Sartre, Engels, Gilles Deleuze, Felix Guattari, Gramsci, Nietzsche, Foucault, Mao, Chomsky, Hunter S Thompson, Russian Lit., Philosophy/History, Beat Gen authors - Kerouac, Ginsberg, Burroughs: Lots of books.

Heroes:

Trotsky, Guevara, Chomsky, Aldous Huxley, Karl Marx, Engels, Lenin, Nietzsche, Gilles Deleuze, Felix Guattari... my friend Dave... fiance Aneta... Heroes is such a huge umbrella... hmm... everybody who sells their labour power for minimum wage... everyone who really cares to learn...
