About Me

I was born in the LAND of the INCAS, home of the turbulent government, PERU. I moved here in 1988 and started writing to keep myself sane. I am bilingue, I am an emigrante, I am a poet - who expresses what he sees happening in his community - through the power of words. I am also a proud father and loving husband. And a supporter of the local rap scene as well as CONSCIOUS Latino rap - cuz rap is POETRY to me. I love soccer, I love to write but most of all - I love to share my work with WHOM EVER WANTS TO LISTEN.

"[Its] filled with hard-edged poetry about the immigrant experience..."-Tom Horgen-Star Tribune/VitaMN

Review on VITAMN

"[Desconocidos] is a standout album from someone who walks, talks, and acts just like one of us, an immigrant, a father, a son, a husband, an American, a Latino."-Gerardo Garcia III- Writer for brownpride.com
