About Me

At the end of my rope but not giving up. I'm gonna take it one game at a time and I will fight 'til the end because it ain't over 'til it's over. Please feel free to submit more cliches (sports related or otherwise) that you feel describe my virtually hopeless situation of pursuing a film career.

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

My Interests

Concerts; Dictionary.com's "word of the day"; crosswords; films(indies and foreign mainly); watching sports; bar hopping; books; playing pool; fortifying my vocabulary; sushi; travelling; tea; TV; dark beer; bourbon; gin; rum; Jeopardy; stand-up: Louie CK, David Cross, Patton Oswalt, Lewis Black, Dane Cook; Miami Hurricanes; Miami Heat; Miami Dolphins; L.A. Dodgers; Rome (the city not the TV show); Rotterdam; Toronto; Vancouver; Geneva; smoking; being on film sets; croissants; I wouldn't mind playing some kickball once the weather's nice again; I played the guitar many moons ago and I'd like to take it up again; If I ever have the money to splurge on a digital camera then I'll take up photography. I don't know. I'm usually curious enough to give just about anything a shot.

I'd like to meet:

My Film School posse and reconnect with them; cute, cool, girls who aren't taciturn or materialistic; anybody who thinks that A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE is a stupid, stupid piece of shit. Also, the "virtuoso" who came up with what I seriously consider one of the most obnoxious, insipid television commercials ever made as well as the douche bag band that agrees to appear in it. Can we agree that all participating parties deserve a swift kick in the bean bag? Take a look at the horror:

Music:

Postal Service, Tom Waitts, Neil Young, Beatles, Doors, Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam, Arcade Fire, a little bit of Cursive, Cat Power, Heather Nova, old Ben Harper, Weezer, Beck, a couple of Springsteen's tracks, although I have not been completely emerged in all of their music I feel like I am really gonna like Yo La Tengo, Radiohead, The Animals, Coldplay, Bright Eyes, The Faint. I know that I like a lot of singles from a lot of different bands whose names escape me. Steve, help me on this. The Roots, Mos Def, Pharoahe Monch , Organized Konfusion, Talib Kweli, Common, Non-Phixion, Dilated Peoples, J5, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, Nas, SOME Eminem (he seems like a real dickhead though), Brooklyn Academy (where can I find more of their shit?), Wu-Tang, Spooks, Diamond D, Big L, KRS-1, Dre, Dead Prez, Some Jedi Mind Tricks (like Violent By Design), Some De La Soul, DJ Honda, A Tribe Called Quest, Wyclef, Afu Ra's 1st album, Bumpy Knuckles(aka Freddie Foxxx), M.O.P., Gang Starr, Xzibit, and a shitload of compilation albums on which most of these guys rap.
