About Me

I only like to be around real people, therefore I spend most of my time to myself. I have been djing for about 15 years so a big part of my life revolves around music. Listening, collecting, learning, practicing. I am in a bar or nightclub almost every night but rarely drink, I would prefer a Starbucks. I use a MAC and would quit using computers before I would switch to a PC. I prefer New Balance shoes. I am a night person. I prefer cool weather to hot. I am always open to new knowledge.

My Interests

Digging for records. Yes-RECORDS! But I enjoy discovering new music however I can. Spending time in my studio.

Music:

Im a DJ/Beatmaker so obviously too many to name, James Brown, Gang Starr, Run DMC, Common Sense (yes, Sense) Led Zeppelin, B.T. Express, Sage Francis, Atmosphere, Public Enemy, Rakim, UTFO, Bob James, A Tribe Called Quest, M.O.P., Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Main Source (Large Pro), EPMD, De La Soul, BDP, Black Moon, Minnie Riperton, Steely Dan, The Coup, Jazzy Jeff, Diamond D, Nas, Non Phixion, RJD2, Ahmad Jamal, TV On The Radio, Organized Konfusion, Wes Montgomery, Muggs, RZA, Isaac Hayes. I dig political music, true soul which includes anything made from the soul (that can include any genre) and cant stand manufactured pop music, and yes that includes rap. Hip Hop was one of the greatest things to happen to my generation and rap music is one of the worst.

Television:

I don't like to spend too much time watching the Tel Lie Vision or digesting what the media tries to sell me on it. It's 2007 and I have Tivo so I use it to watch things on The History Channel, Discovery Channel, National Geographic etc... I like a lot of the stuff on Adult Swim. I can always watch Seinfeld and The Simpsons. (Just remember to fast forward through the commercials).
