RIP FLOP-DOG (10/22/01 - 9/5/05) - MOMMY MISSES YOU TERRIBLY

I've decided to try and fill out my bio. I had to do some re-evaluating on who I am. There is no fluff here, just the real me.

*I have REALLY low self esteem and say "I'm sorry" way too much. I am my own worse enemy and can take an entire day pointing out all of my imperfections. But I have started working on this in the last few weeks and have been improving drastically. So that's a positive thing.

*I am an animal lover of the highest degree. I own 8 cats and 2 dogs. All of my cats are inside only and only two are actually related (sisters). Their names are Samantha, Alexandria (Alex-BoBo-Balex or Fobbitt), Icabod (Ichy), Pandora (Pandy), Guen, Chloe, Friday, and Grace. We own two basset hounds named Ferris Bueller (Bueller for short) and General Lee (named after the Charger in Dukes of Hazzard - General for short). I do not tolerate animal cruelty.

*I ADORE bats. I was studying at the University of Florida for a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation with a specialization in bats. One of my favorite things to do is take a walk right when the sun is going down and watch all of the bats come out to feed.

*It's the little things in life that make me happy, such as the first chill of winter, the sound of rain on the roof, watching the birds drink out of our dog's water bowl, sleeping in, eating a steak cooked just right, laughing at my animals and their unintentional antics, an impromptu stroll thru a graveyard we found while driving, having words or phrases that only you and a friend understand the true meaning of, the taste of a clove cigarette, the blooms of my orange rose bush and a nice beer buzz. On the other hand, in all honesty, if someone decided to give me a yacht, a mansion, an island or a small country, I wouldn't be unhappy about it.
*I am an extreme loyalist when it comes to my friends and loved ones. I don't tolerate someone messing with any of them. After all, friends are what makes life more tolerable.

*I am a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do and practiced kickboxing for several years.

*I love the smell of a storm coming in and love to sit outside and watch the lightning and listen to the thunder rolling.

*I am an emotional Scorpio with extreme ups and downs in my mood. I am also Bipolar. Yippee for me.....not.

*I am obssessed with my hygiene. I can't stand it if I smell bad. I take a shower in the morning and a bath at night. I have been known to take three or more baths/showers in one day.

*I clean my friend's dishes and sometimes their homes. And I actually enjoy doing so. I know. I'm a whole new catogory of freakiness.

*I tend to be possessive of my friends and loved ones and I have had problems with jealousy in the past. I'm a little better now but still have issues with it at times.

*I'm extremely clingy and needy when it comes to my friends. I just want to be around them all the time and get depressed when I can't.

*I'm a very passionate person in all matters. This can be a good thing but can also be a bad trait.

*I have no problem admitting when I've made a mistake (and I've made a ton of them).

*I can be a very hard-headed and stubborn person but usually give in during conflict.

*I'm still very much a child at heart and can act very goofy.

*I'm obssessed with werewolves, case you hadn't noticed. They fascinate me.

*Most people do not know the real me. I act very happy and bubbly when out in public. It's usually a facade. Only a handfull of people have seen the real me.

*October is my favorite month and I'm obssessed with Halloween. I have tons of decorations and I've only met one other person who had more. She is my idol.

*I ADORE the color orange, and buy everything I can that is that color.

*Chilly October evening + Horror Flick + Favorite PJs = one very happy Wendy.

*I really need to practice the virtue of patience and probably could use some anger management courses.

*I am created by God but forever being tempted by Satan.

*I use to own a horse and ride in the rodeos. I then switched to English and did Hunter Seat Jumping and Dressage. I had to sell my horse to go to College. I hope to get back into it again one day.

*I love MOPAR muscle cars with a passion! My faves are the Dodge Charger ('68 - '72), Plymouth Roadrunner, Dodge Challenger and the Plymouth Barracuda. My Dad is a mechanic and I grew up around such cars. He is currently working on rebuilding a 1965 Barracuda.

*I love HORROR movies and can watch them over and over again. I do not like Dramas or any movie that makes me cry. I HATE TO CRY!

*I love my husband but he has decided that it is best that we are not together anymore. He has broken my heart into a million pieces. I suppose I deserve it but it hurts so bad. I thought we were going to grow old together. I am still trying to grasp the reality of this whole situation. I will never be the same and I will NEVER give my heart away like that again. A piece of me has died along with our marriage.

*I love my parents but my Mom can be a little nutty (I think that's where I get my mental problems from). But I am very close to both my Mom and Dad. They are still married and it will be 41 years for them in November.

*I have one sibling, an older bother. He's 7 years older than me and we are very close.

I love to dance to 80's music mostly. Industrial is also pretty fun.

*I have a fascination with graveyards and enjoy having picnics in them and walking around looking at all the unique headstones.

*I have absolutely no fear of death and actually welcome it.

My Interests

my husband (even though he is no longer with me, I will always love him) and friends, horror movies, music, bats, camping, thunderstorms, nature, animals (except for monkeys), guns, reading, being submissive, partying (sometimes), wildlife, big cats, werewolves, necromancers, cleaning, hearses, muscle cars, organizing, rain, basset hounds, lycanthropy, were-animals, multiple cat owners, rescue for cats and dogs, wolves, hiking, swimming, just being near water, also being in the mountains, death, caskets, coffins, funerals, horses, barrel racing, dressage, Halloween, cold October nights, vampires, demons, God, Satan, cemetarys, biblical history, photography, being goofy and tough, beautiful women. As a side note, fashion does nothing for me. I admittedly have very little fashion sense and can't make my make-up look all cool and "gothed" out and, in truth, I could care less. The world is not some big fashion show where you need to impress. Be yourself, whoever that may be, and stand proud. That is far more attractive than any amount of cloth or make-up you can cake on.

Books:

I've really gotten into reading lately. Some of my new faves are Laurell K. Hamliton (thanks to Tar-Tar), PJ Parrish, Randy Wayne Wright, Kelley Armstrong and Carrie Vaughn. I also love Anne Rice, Stephen King and John Saul books, although John Saul has been hitting a little to close to home with his new stuff. Pretty much like any horror (especially werewolves) or mystery/crime novels. I like to read bios on serial killers as well. The Birth of the Firebringer was my favorite book when I was young.
