Music of all sorts, both recorded and live, I'm an Arkie so I like camping, hunting, and fishing too. Movies are a passion of mine and I love to read... there's no such thing as too much education.
I'm also a practicioner of zen. The stories do me well. This is a good one that if more people took to heart there would be a lot less drama in the world.
A student went to his meditation teacher and said, "My meditation is horrible! I feel so distracted, or my legs ache, or I'm constantly falling asleep. It's just horrible!"
"It will pass," the teacher said matter-of-factly.
A week later, the student came back to his teacher. "My meditation is wonderful! I feel so aware, so peaceful, so alive! It's just wonderful!'
"It will pass," the teacher replied matter-of-factly.

I like meeting anyone anytime... but I do think it would be cool to meet someone like Willie Nelson... or maybe Johnny Cash if he wasn't dead....and always remember...

Movies, hell I own about 200 or so... I go to em, rent em, buy em... action, comedy, mystery, sci-fi, I don't care I like em. If you have good one on DVD I'll trade you so I can have something new and so can you (I didn't mean for that to rhyme it just did).
Television:
I live in the woods now... I have six channels... but that's ok, I grew up with four... I don't watch the damn thing anyway... and that's good because we have a remote control now... when I was a kid. I WAS the remote control. "go put it on channel 5" ok.. "go put it on channel 40" .... good God
Books:
I like to read a little of everything, I'm a Tom Clancy fan, I read fantasy and am a big fan of Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman as a writing team and love me some R.A. Salvatore, and of course Stephen King. Love the Dark Tower series. I'm also slowly but surely working on my collection of hardcover novels from the above writers and more... Got any to donate? Or can you tell me where I can find them for a reasonable price? Get in touch... This is crap I wanna know.
Heroes:
Willie Nelson, Chris LeDoux, Ray Charles... these guys did it their way and made it to the top despite adversity and an industry that was at times out to get them.
