Derby, Erotica, Pioneering, Pinball, Woodworking, Teaching, Debate, and many, many things I refuse to list in a social networking profile.
Music:
You name it: alternative rock, gospel, soul, neo soul, rap, hip hop, grunge, folk, classic country and the DCX (stuff they don't play on Clear Channel country stations, basically), folk rock, protest, metal, acid rock, children's music... did I miss anything? Depending on the day, the CDs/MP3s in my car range from C.O.C., Incubus, Tool, APC, and Audioslave, to Blu Cantrel, to Sarah McLachlan/Indigo Girls/Dixie Chicks, to Steven Covey to Bhavanni, to...
Movies:
Pixar (except Finding Nemo). Black comedy. James Bond movies. Existential movies.
Television:
Do not own one. Got rid of it 11 years ago. Have no plans to own one again. Huge waste of life.
Books:
I consider fiction to be the crack cocaine of books. If I start, I'll do nothing else until I finish it. Therefore, since I need to sleep occasionally, I avoid fiction. I like sociological history. I have a special collection of love letters between women. I collect books of letters. I love philosophy. I read a lot of technical books for work. Any strange fact book. Spiritual texts. I am a regular customer at my local used book stores and Amazon's prime account is a wicked good deal for my book habit.
