Audio production (I do a lot of podcasting and such), writing (finished my first full-length audiobook/novella in 2006 and am currently writing a sequel), science fiction and dramatic storytelling, etc.
People who, y'know, don't suck. Sucky people need not apply.
A little of everything. As long as it actually SAYS something, I'll listen to whatever. Right now, my playlist is loaded up with mostly Papa Roach, Lifehouse, and random iTunes purchases. If I can sing it well, all the better. That's one of my big stress burners.
Star Wars Trilogies; Back to the Future Trilogy; A Few Good Men; American History X; Frequency; Fight Club; 12 Angry Men; Rent; Scream Trilogy; Minority Report; and many more
Current series: Heroes; Studio 60; Battlestar Galactica and so on. Probably my favorite of all time would have to be 24, Aaron Sorkin's short-lived Sports Night, or Farscape.
Whatever works at the moment. Right now, I'm reading: David Simon's "Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets;" one or the other of the Lando Calrissian Adventures (for a roundtable discussion later); and "Hamlet" (yes, that "Hamlet"). The last thing I finished was Brad Meltzer's "Star Wars on Trial."
In terms of creativity: Aaron Sorkin; George Lucas; etc. If he were real, I'd say John Crichton, but he's fictional so . . . not so much.
