To my friends I am rather shy in the beginning but then once I get to know you better I tend to open up. I'm an easy person to get along with and very patient(but some say that is a bad thing). The friends I make are also friends for a lifetime. I believe that I am the luckiest person in the world! Ever since I was little I have always loved music and became very involved in it. I sang and played the violin as a member of a Mariachi band for six years, but during that time I also became interested in being behind the scenes and being a part of something that people will remember for a very long time, so i decided at the age of 14 to become a Recording Engineer. After Graduation I left for Los Angeles to pursue my dream of becoming an engineer and attended Los Angeles Recording Workshop, a technical shool for engineering. The school was great but when it came the time to get an internship it became very difficult, being 18, a female trying to get into the recording world dominated by men, and without enough experience apparently was just not gonna work. After a year trying to get a job I realized there was just too much competition in L.A so I decided to go back home. I attended regular college for about a year after that but I realized that it just wasn't for me, I needed to be surrounded by music. I remembered that in L.A they used to talk about a school in Florida that was the best in recording engineering and that everybody that graduated from there got a job so I left to Orlando. In Orlando I attended Full Sail, and became a part of the recording program and at the end of the year I would graduate with an associates degree in recording. I made so many great friends while being there, so many great connections. Again the time came to get a job so i began researching the places I would like to work at and I found a studio in Houston, Tx. Now to make my life story short, I know work with one of my favorite bands, a band I used to go see when I was younger...La Mafia! Just after three years of graduating Full Sail I also received the greatest award any one in the music business would love to have, a Latin Grammy Award for the album "Para El Pueblo" by La Mafia! I also work with another favorite band of mine, Los Palominos (which their album was also nominated for a Latin Grammy), and Inzendio. So can I just say I love my life!!!
