In the year 1989 Armando Licthenberger Jr. and Oscar De la Rosa members of the group La Mafia offered to do a demo for Los Palominos which opened alot of doors and opportunities for them. They would come to recieve many gold and platinum awards for thier recordings and be nominated and won three grammy awards in 1999 , 2000 and this years Latin grammy 2007.
