To be alive is to be broken. And to be broken is to stand in the need of grace.

About Me

I have learned many lessons throughout life, but the most important lesson I have learned so far is to never judge anyone and to love everyone. No matter what a person has done to you we are called to love them unconditionally. Obvisously there are some people that we must forgive and love, but aren't neccessarily good in our lives. I hope that I am never that person. I strive to be a quality person. Not to be perfect in what I do, wear, how I look, my intellegence, but to be me. I strive to be a genuine woman of God who can nurture but also stand up for herself. I want to be the type of person who people enjoy being around because i am uplifting. I have not always had that quality and I am not there yet, maybe I never will be, but I strive for it. I can be serious, emotional, and moody, but I can also be funny, logical, and happy. Depends on my mood, haha! I am a STRONG WOMAN, which means that I am strong enough to take care of myself. I have done it for years. I know that if I had to live alone for the rest of my life I could make it work and still enjoy my life. However, I am still a woman. By nature I want to nurture others, be lead by someone I trust and love, and to be protected. I value real people, and by real I mean those who don't pretend to be perfect or have it all figured out. I am very quite when I first meet someone, but when I start to feel comfortable I can talk a lot. I ride the line between an introvert and an extrovert. I love my family, they are my heartbeat. They have seen me through so many phases and they still love me and think I am great. Family is one of the most important aspects to my life. My friends are also very important to me. I have some amazing friends in my life, and I cherish every one of them. I am an open book, I have nothing to hide. If you want to know something about me just ask. I process things verbally, so sometimes I get myself in trouble, but held in the company of a few trustworthy people who know me well, I am usually safe. I love it when people are different from each other. When they can bring a new idea, a new culture, and new life to the table. I like change, and can get bored easily. I love deep conversations that go beyond the surface. I am a person worth getting to know because I am me; Unique from anyone else.

My Interests

Dancing is one of my main passions. I LOVE to dance...hip hop, jazz, break, pop and loc, ballroom, whatever. The absolute joys of my life are my nieces and nephews. Drama is one of the main ways I express myself. Some say I can be a little 'dramatic' (but only on the stage of course;). Singing (kareoke), chatting over a drink, music, working out (kinda), coffee, hanging out with family and friends, watching movies, cuddling up with a good book on a cloudy day, writing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, river rafting, skiing (water and snow), boating, volleyball, softball, being outside.
You Should Be a Dancer
You have a unique combination of grace and athleticism..
Whether you become a salsa dancer or a ballerina, you need to get dancing! What Sort of Artist Should You Be?

I'd like to meet:

People who are willing to be real and vulnerable. People who are willing to ask the hard questions, and get to know others even if they think they won't get along. People who are not ashamed of the journey they are on, and who are willing to express that journey to anyone who will listen. People who are open to hearing someone who doesn't believe as they do, but can still share their beliefs to anyone without shame.

Music:

If it makes me want to dance in front of the mirror (like when I was a kid)...If it evokes emotion...If it can make me cry...If it makes me want to sing along...If I can just sit and chill out to it...If it's live...If it tells a story...then I like it. :)
