I can't really afford interests at the moment. I'm too busy. The things I do when I'm busy are: work, study, and school. Sometimes I get a chance to have a beer. That's when you'll like me the most. At least I get to work in bars. The beers are free. That's nice.
I'd like to meet:
I used to have a long section here, listing all the people I'd travel back in time to stop their life's work... but I'm just too tired to care if Abba ever existed now. So, seriously, there's still a ton of people I'd like to meet.
I'd like to meet John Prine, he's probably mentioned first among all the musicians I idolize for the simple reason that I think he'd probably be the most entertaining to have a beer with. Next, as far as musicians go, would be Chuck Brodsky, even though we've already met and had a beer.. it was a lot of fun the first time... I mean, he prank called a friend for me.
Then I guess it would be your standard list. But Chuck Yeager and Chesty Puller would be there. So would Kazushi Sakuraba. Maybe Rodney Dangerfield... sure, why not?

These two videos are incomplete vids of songs at concerts I wish I'd been to.
This one is from one of the most prolific songwriters I've ever come across.
Movies:
Stranger Than Fiction. Superbad was hysterical. Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. Little Miss Sunshine was beautiful. The Children of Men has some of the best cinematography I've ever seen, and it's the last movie I went to see in the theater that was worth $10. Rear Window. Brick. The Big Red One. Night on Earth, Elephant Man, Goodfellas, Grosse Pointe Blank, Siege of Firebase Gloria, Blazing Saddles, Me Myself + Irene, Legend of the Drunken Master, My Blue Heaven, High Fidelity, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Cool Hand Luke, The Last Waltz, Endless Summer, Spinal Tap, and if you don't cry watching Steel Magnolia's you are a robot.
Two wrongs don't make a right. Unless they are two shells labeled "wrong" fired from Bruce Campbell's boomstick.
Television:
Daily Show, Scrubs, Heroes, Mythbusters. Please end the writer's strike, I've got to watch my stories goddamnit!
Books:
Anything by Bill Bryson (especially _I'm a Stranger Here Myself_). I end up with new favorites every week because I am constantly reading. I'm in the middle of a Donna Tartt book. I'm in the middle of some silly horror novel that I hate but can't seem to quit. I'm in the middle of Julian Jackson's The Fall of France. I just read the Bob Dylan autobiography, it wasn't life changing but it was very touching and poignant.
I am a complete sucker for Shakespeare and have read every play he wrote (well, almost).
Police Officer Barbrady, South Park (1998) - "Yes, at first i was happy to be learning how to read. It seemed exciting and magical, but then i read this: Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand. I read every last word of this garbage, and because of this piece of shit, I am never reading again!"
Heroes:
Lawrence, from Office Space, man.
