Any electronica artists out there? Hit me up... lets make some magic.

IM: jungltime

"Life's not a bitch, she's a beautiful woman, you only call her a bitch 'cuz she won't let you get that pussy. Maybe she didn't feel y'all shared any similar interests, or maybe your just an asshole who couldn't sweet talk the princess"

My Interests

Djing, laying around with a good book, electro production, masterbation, what? Interesting, young at heart (not in a NAMBLA sort of way) people, obscure electronic music, UK hiphop, obscure films, crazy but believable concepts, Alcoholics, solo dance parties, Inteligent people (beggers can't be choosers, I know), fashion, my body, travelling, travellers, mis-spelling things, learning lifes lessons (cheesy, yes), making people dance, snowboarding, skateboarding, good sex, cologne, Hitchcock, FILM, cultural diversity, asian people, hating on wasps (entertaining pasttime)...

...being the only one on the the H3 at 2:30am with a marlboro menthol and the steering wheel in the left and a diet coke in the right, listening to whatever incredible band, dj, or producer I can get my hands on at the time. I FUCKIN MISS OAHU!!!! screw La man.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

classics:

David Bowie, Queen, Michael Jackson (the thriller days), Beck, Madonna, Talib Kweli, Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, Dieselboy, DJ Dara, NOFX, Rancid, BJORK, old Offspring, Sinatra, Cibo Matto (akiko R.I.P), Nirvana, Radiohead, Bassment Jaxx, Moloko, Anticon, RedHotChiliPeppers (oh risa), The shins, French Kicks, Spoon, Gorillaz, Blonde Redhead, The slits (!!!!!), UFO, Technical Itch, Blur, urm.... to be updated

maybe fleeting(?) obsessions:

Audiobullys, Sole, CocoRosie, awol one, Mount sims, fischerspooner, miss kitten, hacker, Vitalic, Paid off Saint (me), Blockhead, Pigeon John, Arcade Fire, Ladytron (check out the new album), danzig, Metric, Berlin, old Muze, Tegan and Sara (and all that other new lesbian junk, ie. Belle and sebastian), M.I.A, Fanny pack... changing by the day...

Bands that suck right now:

TV rock of any sort... "the revolution will not be televised". This whole "emo" thing is killing me. I remember when that style was only found in Williamsburg, BK. If you can get an entire image from urban outfitters, take a closer look into that slimming retail mirror buddeh.

Movies:

Television:

anything on adult swim, televagalists, and body building infomercials

Books:

Beemer (tm) [by glenn gaslin... if you haven't read it, do so], farenheit 451 & Martian Chronicles (Bradbury), slaughterhouse five, The Corrections, the koran, The Bell Jar... im workin on Underworld (Don Delillo). Non trendy literature includes: Goodnight Moon (fuck you if you haven't heard of/read that), Dr. Seuss... oh! Any Shel Silverstein book (i accredit my dark personality to him: and loving him for it), annnnnd Catcher in the Rye (who doesn't wish they were Holden or think they are?)

Heroes:

Bjork, tom yorke, slug, aesop rock, Conan O'brian, Will Ferrel, cheri oterri, and many other sad clowns. American gladiators too... yeah man.

My Blog

Children of Men

I recently saw Children of Men directed by Curaron (however you spell it... I don't care). It was incredible. The LA Times deemed it a modern Blade Runner. It's about the near future world where women...

shortbus

I watched a film called short bus and consequently I'm 'feelin the vapors' if you will. That movie was incredible. It had hints of Gregg Araki, live sex, many homages to 8 and a half, with a dash of f...
