About Me

"I am much more than I think I am. I can be much more even than that. I can influence my environment. The people. I can influence space itself. I can influence the future. I am responsible for all those things. I and the surround are not separate. They're part of one. I'm connected to it all. I'm not alone." William Tiller, Ph.D.

Music:

I love music of all types, especially gospel, blues, R&B, and, my boy, Tim Dillinger! You should check him out if you haven't already done so.

Movies:

I don't go to the movies often, but when I do, I prefer comedies, action/adventure, and good sci-fi!

Television:

Can't miss 24 (love that Jack Bauer), Heros, and Boston Legal. I also love really good sci-fi, Star Trek being my all-time favorite, as well as Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, Farscape, and Firefly. I also like American Idol, although I don't think it gets interesting till the final 10. Tyler Florence, Paula Deen and Ina Garten are my favorite chefs on Food TV. I'm also a Cash Cab fan thanks to my nephew Jacob.

Books:

I love books! How much time do you have???? I read the Bible often - of course. For fun, I enjoy classic adventures like Ivanhoe, King Arthur, anything Jules Verne, etc. Good sci-fi like Ray Bradbury. Currently, my favorite author is Robin Hobb - I highly recommend the Farseer Trilogy - totally sucked me in. I'm also into Celtic stories, such as the Princes of Ireland saga, and Celtic mythology. I'm currently going through A Purpose Driven Life - it's really enlightening. I also love inspirational stories such as Peace Like a River (I have to thank my nephew Joey for that one. It's great. I also love good biographies. I loved both of Chuck Yeager's books - Press On is the first. I also read alot of work-related books, but I won't bore you with those.

Heroes:

To me a hero is an individual who possesses characteristics that you most admire and strive to emulate. Few people fit this description. Those who come to mind for me are: The Lord, my Mom & Dad, Maya Angelou, and Chuck Yeager.
