Porch Kickers

We is the Porch Kickers. We is a four piece that lives in a garage in San Gabriel Valley. Livin' and practicing to sound tight and extravagant, we come together.The band was formed by Rawl coming upfront and writing songs years ago. He's done time in Calavera and Peizos. After that, with Steve on double bass, who was also been playing/filling in fer many bands, they decided go for something plotted. But, after the fall of the dreaded exploding drummers they needed someone to play pots and pans. Josh only knew how to play drums. NOT pots and pans. So, Scotto. the former drummer of The Hellevators, took his place in it as well. Scruffy Jack completed this fucked-up line-up joining in on lead washboard, harmonicer and rockin chair. Together we hunted varmant, watched porn and formed a bond to make great music and fully realize the power and glory that is the rockin chair.
Coming from a vast variety of musics and different waves of punk, we plan our quest for world domination. Whether it's Raul's heavy distortion to his keys in blues, or Steve's Jazzy scales, to his dancematic lines, Scotty's upbeat tempo, to his punky beats and Scruffy's washboard solos that'll make ya wanna slap yo mama-They think as one, kinda like the creature with one brain. And even when they are smoking, drinking and talkin shit, they are always kicking back on your porch, waiting fer grub. So give Porch Kickers a hoot and come down to a show. Bring some vittels and give us some lovin cuz we all cousins, ain't we? You too can be courteous and buy us some rotgut or smokes and we we'll kindly skin yer rabbit or mother-in-law for ya.
