Take an experienced Soul voice from Bonn, a Jazz, Ska and Reggae-influenced young Sax player and a dinosaur guitarist of Funk & Soul from Cologne and you got the basic three of "THE SOULKRAUT".These 3 KRAUTS really dig the Soul & Funk:
"Screaming Brain" Thorso (Lead Vocals) , Stefan "The Joker" Gansweid (Alto Sax) and Alex "Funkmachine" Collatz (Guitars).
These three Hustlers once met years ago in Cologne to jam in some Blues-Clubs and always wanted to found a Band together. "THORSO" and "THE JOKER", former members of "The Soulmachine" were diggin' that music together for several years... With funky Alto Sax and former singer of "The Soulmachine", who is a real soulman on stage, they really bring some badass Soul together and perform all the Motown- and Stax classics.
Beside the Motown- /Stax-Tribute, they decided to do some own Soulstuff to add to their Soul Life.
