About Me

WORDS TO LIVE BY...
ATTITUDE -- The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say, or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company... church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our Attitudes.

You Are Bud Light
You're not fussy when it comes to beer. If someone hands it to you, you'll drink it.
In fact, you don't understand beer snobbery at all. It all tastes the same once you're drunk!
You're an enthusiastic drinker, and you can often be found at your neighborhood bar.
You're pretty good at holding your liquor too - you've had lots of experience.

Opening Day

Opening Day, baseball season, always reminds me of the sweet sound of the voice of Ernie Harwell, and the piece from the Song of Solomon, 2:12, that he would use to introduce every new baseball season...

Summer of 2006

OK, so I'm taking a minute away from the relentless onslaught of phone calls and emails (hopefully), to jot down a few of my thoughts on the summer of 2006.  Not sure why I feel the need to do th...
