Music, movies, photography, sports (baseball and football are the favorites), travel
good question... i've met so many people already, but i'm sure there are many more people to be met...
Please, if you're sending a Friend request (and I don't know you already), write me a little note introducing yourself, because there are far too many "Friend-spammers" out there these days. If you're truly interested in getting to know me, tell me! :)
In my collection, there's a little bit of everything, from Aaliyah to ZZ Top... hip-hop to pure pop... rock to Bach... funk to punk. (But not opera, 'cause really, no other genres rhyme with opera.) I believe there's both good and bad music to be found in just about every genre, so I simply embrace good music, wherever it can be found.
Current favorite CD: Bruce Springsteen "Magic"
Airplane!, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, This is Spinal Tap (and any of the Christopher Guest "mockumentaries"), Field of Dreams, The Blues Brothers, the American Pie movies, There's Something About Mary...
...and "Silly Love Songs." If you've never heard of it, hopefully someday you will. It's a screenplay I've written.
Still on the air: 24, The Simpsons, Prison Break, House
Gone, but not forgotten: The X-Files, Seinfeld, The West Wing, Cheers, WKRP in Cincinnati (having worked in radio, I can appreciate the humor even more now!), and many more.
1984, Catcher In The Rye, the Harry Potter series
I tend to not have heroes, because all humans are fallible in some way or another, and I'd rather not be disappointed. I mean hey, a few years ago, who would have thought that the best athletes of our generation would have achieved that status through chemistry instead of, say, talent and hard work?
