I rode a skateboard on one knee before I learned how to ride a bike.(age 6-10)
With that bike I carried my surfboard under one arm to the beach.(age 11-15)
Around this young age I laid down on my bed looking at all my surfing posters on my wall.
I put my headphones on and cranked up KLOS laid back and heard a live concert with this amazing guitar player. He hypnotized me with his awesome shredding guitar solos. It was Randy Rhoades.
That very next day as soon as I woke up, I asked my Dad if I could get a guitar he said, “ask your Mother”.
I had a brand new Fender Stratocaster all black doudle-cutaway,solidbody, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard original light brown fender case one week later. I had found a new love. I was 11 years old.
