About Me


The beginning of Rums & Bumbletons is described like a poet's dream - a scrap piece of blank paper, a pen, and a drunken state of bliss in the dead of the night.
By the time the sun rose, the paper was still there, inscribed with the words "rums & bumbletons".
Weeks later, when Dick Syn would meet up with Stoney Catcherye to perform at an open mike show, the words were uttered again and the pair chose to use it as their band name.
A few months later, when songs were written, musicians gathered under that name as a brand new band. The group toured New England, only to break up.
But fate would have it's way, and the band reformed years later, with a different drummer, but a solidified line-up -
Stone Catcherye on vocals, Dick Syn (aka The Sinner) on guitar, Kramwell Ellavalled on bass and Delphurius Finn (aka Dr. Doom) on drums - the puzzle was complete again.
