About Me

Toni Deville began her career in the music industry as a freelance music journalist for a variety of fanzines in the early 1990's. She was a regular contributor to the now defunct Etch Magazine (one of the top fanzines in the world) for several years when she was promoted to Assistant Editor/Director of Promotions. Shortly thereafter, she and Managing Editor, Norman Zebrowski, launched the now defunct www.voxpopzine.com. In the meantime, Toni became heavily involved in the Detroit rock â€˜nâ€™ roll scene, as a supporter and prompter in several different arenas. After moving to Los Angeles in 2001, she began working in film production and business development. She also worked as an Executive Coordinator of Talent Development & Promotions for one of the Nationâ€™s most recognized venues. She has worked with a variety of musicians and music industry professionals including HR (Bad Brains), Geza X (Producer-Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, The Germs and many more),Johnny Winter and members of Suicidal Tendencies and Fishbone. Her events were attended by the likes of Billy Bob THornton, Eva Mendez, Gary Sinise and Ron Jeremy. In addition, she had appeared on the red carpet and has played small roles in films including THe Germs' movie "What We Do Is Secret" and "Living Luminaries." Toni Deville is currently the owner of Stiv Deville Productions, where she services and acts as a consultant for musicians and music industry professionals. She is currently an Account Excutive for the Metro Times, Michigan's largest weekly paper.
