Eros Ramazzotti

I was born on October 28,1963 in San Giovanni hospital in Roma, Italy. Although I was born in the capital of Italy, at the time, my familys residence was found on the outskirts of Cinecitta a poor town were Mussolini constructed movie studios before the war. In fact as a boy I even acted in some of Fellinis films to earn extra money. From a very young age I manifested a great passion for music, like my father who was also a singer of some reputation, who recorded a few albums. As a student I was not very bright. I tried to study accounting, but the numbers would just dance in my head. I only thought about music, music, music. At the age of eight my parents gave me my first guitar as a gift and years later I told my parents I was tired of school, and I was leaving it for music. And after numerous hours of practicing music I failed my conservatory exam, because I didnt know how to write music. Yet not wanting to abandon my passion for music I continued to practice my guitar and vocals. I now live Milano.I have performed in concert with Tina Turner, Elton John, Cher, Anastacia, Joe Cocker, Antonella Bucci and others.I have one daughter Aurora, who is my world. I undrerstand there are many falsities surrounding my life. I am dissapointed to see what tabloids have to say about my personal life, which they nothing about. Outside my family, those know me only because I remain autobiagrical in my music.
