Hey! My name is Sindri. I'm the lead singer & guitarist of Dog Almighty, a band you hopefully will hear more about in the near and far future. Dog Almighty is the joined creative forces of Joff, Kim & Fred from SPAN(r.i.p.) and myself, and we're currently recording and having tons of fun in our studio. Through the years I've been in many bands. I started out in a band called Still She Turns in 1994. We were part of the hardcore underground in Norway until we split in 1998. The guitarist moved on to form JR Ewing (please check out their site!) and I moved on to join the hardcore/Metal/punk band Farout Fishing for 5 years. When Farout split in 2003, I began concentrating a lot on my acoustic stuff. I've always been trying to break as many musical boundaries as i can, and keep searching for new ways to be creative.

Anyway...I'm sure a lot of people here on MySpace have a difficult time coping with the insane turns life may take sometimes, and I'm one of those people. The main way I cope with life, and get to sort my thoughts out, is through being creative. I'm a musician at heart, and Music has taught me so much about myself and about the world. I don't know where I would be without it, or if I'd actually be anywhere at all.
For me music is a spiritual blood, which runs through the veins of humanity, a language we all can understand no matter origin, colour, gender, culture or age. I am imprisoned by it, and it is a beautiful prison. A prison without borders, boundaries or rules. I will never be able to escape from it, not that I think I would ever want to lol ... Its creativity that makes me tick.
...And as all this is probably a bunch of blah-blah to you, I will leave it at this, at least for now, with a drawing of mine called Man & The Bear:

Underneath is a video of Farout Fishing, made by the same people who made the "intergalactic" video for Beastie Boys. The song is called "Complexsimplicity" and was never released, because we split.
...and another video we made with the same crew when we all got really drunk one night. I channelized Arnold Scwhartzneger's thoughts and feelings when he was lovesick into a song that is called "I'll be back for you (ode to Arnold)" hahaha. Funny, weird shit. Here goes! Enjoy!
