Don't fear death, but the un-lived life.

About Me

I've been around a lot of people and yet I still believe that I'm the happiest person I know. I don't need a lot of things in life... just food and people. My family means a whole lot to me. Matter of fact, every time I pray I thank God for blessing me with the greatest parents of all. I'm the middle child among a super talented older brother who is working on his Ph. D. and a bubbly and beautiful younger sister. My mom was my principal my entire life and my dad has been and still is my pastor. I don't have any kids which is good because I'm not married, but I'm gonna have a house full of them someday.
I graduated from NKU with a degree in Mathematics but pursued a career in the Christian Music Industry. I was signed to a major Christian label, toured all across the nation with Casting Crowns, and wrote, sang, played music on many Christian albums. However, I have since transitioned into an Independent Artist to pursue my Master's Degree in Teaching.
I just became the Youth Pastor of Impact Youth Ministries in Independence, KY, which I think is the coolest thing. There is nothing more that I want to see than students being changed by the power of Jesus Christ and living for Him. My heart goes out to kids simply because it is hard being a kid, and if there is anything I can do to help them, then I'm going to give my all to see that that is accomplished. They are also a blast to be around. Sometimes I don't think I really grew up, because I feel like a kid at heart. I'm really excited about the vision God has given me for the youth and I just pray that somehow I can accomplish most of it. I'd rather ask God for a lot and get half of it than to ask for nothing and get all of it. One of my favorite scriptures is from the book of Joshua where God said to him, "Don't ever be afraid or dismayed, because I will be with you wherever you go."
