Since my junior year of high school I have felt a strong call into full-time ministry. As the years have passed from that specific moment God has narrowed the “call” over my life. Currently, I sense an overwhelming purpose to do mission work. Although I do not know to what specific country God is directing me, I do know I have a heart for the Latin culture. As to where God ends up sending me is a complete mystery. However, it really is not a major concern. My confidence rests in the fact God will lead me to the ordained area of ministry I am called. Undoubtedly, God has called me to minister His gospel to a lost and hurting world. I believe this is done by living every day in God’s perfect will, seeking to know Him more, and being progressively conformed into the image of Christ. I want to decrease so that God may increase in my life. The more I acquire the mind of Christ and see things from His divine perspective, the more my spirit is ignited towards people. Indeed, God’s heart is unequivocally for people. I too, want my heart to be pressed and broken for the fatherless, abandoned, desperate, and orphaned inhabitants of the world. It makes no difference as to what gender, age, or ethnicity, I want to possess a Godly love for all people. It is this passion and desire which is the crux of my Christian faith and essentially, my very being. "Love the Lord your God with all you heart and with all of your soul and with all of your mind" (Mt. 22:37) and "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Mt. 22:39).
