Myspace BackgroundsI enjoy Belly, Scottish, and Tribal dancing, drumming, playing the flute, didgeridoo, and tinkering with the ivories. I also like working with my hands, painting, pottery, learning the art of the blade smith from a friend, writing short stories and poetry. (The poems and some of the short essays/stories in the blog section have nothing to do with anyone I know personally. They simply reflect what I have observed as a writer of human nature and what may inspire pen to ink!) I recently started working on a children's book, inspired by the 3 loves of my life! I'm also a Rein Faire nerd, to which I would be accused of being a history buff or a romantic, well…yes, both actually! I enjoy Sunday night dinner and movies with my friends, people watching, reading, playing chess, golfing, rugby, bowling, cricket, soccer, baseball. Truth be told, I would rather play sports than watch them! My interests are broad and varied, too many to list here! I've been told I have a dry, yet sharp wit and sense of humor. I've lived many places, met many people and have experienced much in my short span, and I hunger for more!! Life is one big adventure and I refuse to be a spectator! I’m just outright sucking the marrow out of life and will chew on the bone until there is nothing left!! Believe it or not, I tend to be a quiet person with a healthy dose of both introverted and extroverted personality. I am passionate both about my inner circle and the causes that are close to my heart. As a student of nursing, I would like to eventually join the Peace Corps. If you really wish to get to know me, READ this page and feel free to write!

My Interests

Constantly growing in spirit as well as mind which brings new opertunities and thereby expanding my horizons! All of which, I hope, will make me a better person to be around! :)

I'd like to meet:

People like you who make this world what it is! Especially if you've worked with the Peace Corps or just want to help another human being make this world a better place to live one person at a time! After all, as Maya Angelou once wrote: "One raindrop raises the sea!"
