Jordan Carris... guitar!
How long have you been playing your instrument?
I've been playing the guitar for 9 years.... but I didn't take it too seriously until the past 5 years. I've taken lessons from different people off and on.
Can you name some artists who have influenced you as a musician
Um... Skillet, The Cranberries, Toby Mac, Flyleaf, Eve 6, Falling Up... yeah, and Family Force 5.
Of all the bands you’ve seen perform live, who is your favorite? Why?
Definitely Skillet! Every time I see them live, they inspire me as a musician and as Christian. John is the man. John inspires me to be authentic... he's real on stage and off. That's how I want to be.
So, you’re in Hollow… what’s that like? What’s your favorite part?
Hollow's great.... I get to hang out with my friends, who also double as my family. The highlight of any "Hollow practice" is our traditional IHOP run afterwards. Mmmmm....
If your wildest dreams could come true, what would they look like?
That God would provide a way for Hollow to be able to make music our career, not just our dream. Post-Hollow retirement, I would love to open my own studio and produce other artists.
