The Transit Message officially became The Transit Message in the spring of 2007 with the decision of dawning this name. After that, the group began to write music and play shows around the OKlahoma City area and working very hard to gain a legitimate local fan base.
On Valentine's Day, 2009, the sextet went into the studio to record their debut EP, "Hey, New Kid!" which is now in post production and set to be released in spring of this year.
As the title of the five song EP suggests, The Transit Message really is the "new kid" in the music scene. They are continuing to make friends and widen their base of listeners and working hard as ever at everything that they do.
Be ready for these guys. They are a message in transit, and they're going places.
Please comment and message :)

"With a new lead singer, a hang-out-with-us attitude, great music and an effort to get everyone involved, The Transit Message creates an up beat experience." -Chris Colberg, The Daily Oklahoman
