lots! planning parties, spending time with my kid, friends and family, watching old movies, dancing and singing, singing and dancing, cooking, reading. i like to go just about anywhere. i love the Lord Jesus, Father God and His Holy Spirit. i have definitely been "redeemed with the precious blood of the Lamb and not with corruptible things like silver and gold", 1 Peter 1:18-19. i want the world to know who Jesus is, because He is so amazing and faithful and awesome to me. .. ..
“A man prepared a great feast and sent out many invitations. When the banquet was ready, he sent his servant to tell the guests, ‘Come, the banquet is ready.’ But they all began making excuses. One said, ‘I have just bought a field and must inspect it. Please excuse me.’ Another said, ‘I have just bought five pairs of oxen, and I want to try them out. Please excuse me.’ Another said, ‘I now have a wife, so I can’t come.’ The servant returned and told his master what they had said. His master was furious and said, ‘Go quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and invite the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’ After the servant had done this, he reported, ‘There is still room for more.’ So his master said, ‘Go out into the country lanes and behind the hedges and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full. For none of those I first invited will get even the smallest taste of my banquet.’â€MORAL OF THE STORY: I want to meet this King every day for a taste of what He has prepared for me-so often, we settle for crumbs when we could have had steak!

ok, i'm smiling before i type this and i mean this as nicely as possible. what i don't understand is Christian people who are absolutely numb to the filth that is on tv. what ever happened to that good old saying, "TRASH IN, TRASH OUT"? Ephesians 4:30-31, "And do not bring sorrow to God's Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he is the one who has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of malicious behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." Why are we watching the 6:00 evening news when the media cannot seem to say a kind (or true) word about anyone and all we see is violence and destruction? Why are we cheering for desperate housewives promoting adultery, queer eyes promoting homosexuality, SNL promoting drugs and sex just because it is considered humor? Galations 5:19-25, "When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, your lives will produce these evil results: sexual immorality, impure thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure, idolatry, participation in demonic activities, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, divisions, the feeling that everyone is wrong except those in your own little group, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other kinds of sin. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Here there is no conflict with the law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives."hey, i'm just saying...don't be condemned, be convicted and start taking a stand against trashy living. Jesus is coming back for a Pure Bride!!
hmmm. well, i am currently reading about 8 different books - some have been ongoing for about a year or so, some are recently started, but yes, i love books. books are my friends. i cannot bear to get rid of my books. i am a book hoarder - i know and admit this.
my definition of a hero does not include people who make a lot of money and look out for their own self-interests. nor does it include people who run around after a ball, throw fits of temper, take steroids, and eventually lose the game anyway. when i think of how excited people get about a sports game or a concert, over people who actually aren't doing a thing for them, it really blows my mind. one the the best history lessons i've ever learned was about the social gospel movement. men like moody and rauschenbusch, women like jane addams, were demonstrating God's love by doing something for others, and taking care of peoples' needs. i would be much more apt to stand up and cheer when someone announces that children in a third world country - heck, even our own country, just got food and clean water and blankets today.
