All knocked up, and no place to go.

About Me

Lived in NYC until I was 17. Moved to New Orleans. Loved it, still do. Then 13 years later there was this big sucky hurricane, so I had to leave. We moved to the country. Turns out we're not really country folk, so we moved back home to New Orleans.I like bagels, ponies, tacos, dogs, road trips.....
You scored as Mule. You're not a horse, but not yet a donkey. As a mix of the two you have the odd ability to combine the worst qualities of each. You are stubborn, rude, gangly, and you make an annoying hee-haw sound that sounds like a donkey with smokers cough. Ooops srry was that too literal? Srry u got this result maybe yer just too full of yourself or maybe you really are a mule.

My Interests

Slacking, sarcasm, bagels, driving around illegally in my new 87 Volvo, saving shoes and undies from being eaten by the dumber of two dogs, Super Mario Brothers, and when I feel motivated - painting and sculpting.

I'd like to meet:

I would still like to meet Chris Elliot.

Music:

Well - I met my husband at a bar over a Neutral Milk Hotel discussion. We broke up after hurricane Ivan, and got back together at a Crooked Fingers show, got engaged at a Jonathan Richman show, and got married at a Bingo! show. I think that sums it up pretty well.I love the local boys (The New Orleans Bingo! Show, The Happytalk Band, The Morning 40 Federation, plus all their brothers, sisters and cousins). I like geekie indie rock, fun rockin' alt country, and all the old fun stuff I listened to in high school. I just bought the new Ted Leo, and The Long Winters.

Movies:

I own and watch a lot - High Fidelity, Elf, Anchorman - Legend of Ron Burgundy, Wet Hot American Summer, 40 Year Old Virgin, Grandma's Boy.... and other silly things. Really enjoyed, maybe own, but don't feel the need to watch daily - Jesus' Son, A Good Band is Easy To Kill, Shaun of the Dead, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Fargo....

Television:

Dead Like Me, Mr. Show, The Office, Earl, 30 Rock (you know - Thursday night), Arrested Development (just got the final season on DVD!), Wonderfalls, Scrubs, Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job!, Seinfeld reruns, The Daily Show (in those rare moments that I have cable), Six Feet Under, Family Guy....

Books:

I like stuff written by Laurie Notaro, TC Boyle, David Sedaris, Douglas Coupland, Roddy Doyle, Mary Karr, Augusten Burroughs, Dave Eggers (sometimes he's a bit much tho), McSweeney's/The Believer....

Heroes:

I guess she's not really my hero so much, but when I was fifteen I wanted to be Natalie Merchant. I also like the TV show Heroes.
