Congrats! Lauren, Jordan, Bailey, Sami, anyone else?

About Me

My 18 year-old daughter said I was too old to have a myspace account so that was my motivation to get started asap! I don't "feel" old! Anyway, I thought it would be a good way to reconnect with old friends & acquaintances. I was right. I am happily married for the last 9 years to my wonderful wife Sandi and have two kids. My step-daughter, Lauren, lives with us here in Crowley, Texas and my 18 year-old son, Jordan, lives in Olathe, Ks. I have also recently reconnected with Ashley, 21 (Damn, i'm old!), who I spent 5 years with in a previous relationship. Just a small chapter of the ongoing story of my life.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual &videoid=2022184194 My experiences of meeting influences or people I put on a pedestal when I was younger always seemed to be a let down. Lots of my heroes turned out to be assholes as Shooter Jennings wrote. One of the exceptions to this rule was WASP guitarist Chris Holmes. Back in the day he only wanted to be one of the guys and I was fortunate to have ran into him several times in different cities from about '85-'88. Mick Brown from Dokken was also real cool. Ran into him around the same time period in both Phoenix and L.A. Once we were both in line to buy beer at a Sam Kinison show. Sam who? I know, I'm old huh? But I wouldn't trade it for the world. Stephen Pearcy from RATT was an asshole! My friend Joe Hagin has met Willie Nelson a few times and has always been gracious towards his fans. Those are the people you wanna meet. Back to the original question....history shows that Frank Lloyd Wright was a very disgruntled human being, most genius' are. Still, I would have like to meet him to this day. I would have liked to have met my Grandpa Day who was a traveling musician back in the '40's and '50's. What a wealth of knowledge I could have inherited from him. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity.

"We all live in The Yellow Submarine"

As a kid born in the sixties and brought up in the seventies I definitely felt the impact of The Beatles. The year I was born was the same year of their initial visit to the United States. At this po...

Making sense of Destiny

I have always prided myself on not being a whiner or a complainer. Sure, there are things that have affected my life that are out of my control. On the other hand, I have set myself up for disast...
