Kenya is a country that the members of Bandwagon hold close to their hearts. Due to civil unrest and the country being on the brink of civil war in early 2008, our trip to Kenya was postponed. So, we have taken the opportunity with Direct Current Media to raise sufficient funds, enabling organisations such as Carolina for Kibera to provide the medical and financial support to aid the people of Kibera in rebuilding their homes, and community after such devastating events following the election of the new Prime Minister.

Bandwagon presents the Australian launch of 4REAL at the Oxford Art Factory, Sydney. The night will consist of short screenings for 4REAL episodes, focusing on the 4REAL Kenya episode. There will also be a exhibition with 20 of some of Australia's well respected underground artists who have kindly donated their works to be exhibited and auctioned on the evening. The brief for the artists revolves around the notion 'IN THE END WHAT COUNTS'. There will be live and interactive art, an array of live bands and DJ's, and an INTERNATIONAL HEADLINING ACT TBA.
