About Me

Why is marijuana not legal? Why is marijuana not legal? It's a natural plant that grows in the dirt. You know what's not natural? Eighty year old dudes with hard ons. That's not natural, but we've got pills for that. We're dedicating all our medical resources to keeping the old guys erect but we're putting people in jail for smoking something that grows in the dirt?Well - current situation is...i'm at leicester uni, which is fucking amazing. Bredon House is the palace of all mankind. Currently 'studying' engineering, which is a big pile of steaming turd, but will be good if i can stick it out yadda yadda yadda. Anyhow, these are the things by which i live.My mates and my friends are the coolest thing in the world, they are all absolute legends. I love to know things, hence i need wikipedia to live. I love meeting interesting people. I like to think, and I like to reflect. Most of my opinions and morals are subject to change on a daily basis - its too much hassle to be strict with oneself. I love fashion and shopping and all that jazz, no matter what people think about how i look, if i feel ive made an effort, i feel good. I think everyone needs to get out of their comfortable homely situation and TRAVEL - its awesome. I only do anything because i can, because nobody is there to stop me. I fucking passionately love music in all its glorious forms, apart from James Blunt, whom i despise with a seething hatred.

My Interests

Everything in the world is interesting if you're open minded enough to accept it Here instead is an entirely incomplete list of general stuff that is really cool and good - Amsterdam, macbooks, digg.com, peroni nastro azzuro, skiing, stickers, painting your own shoes, ringspun, anime, origami, pop culture references, jokes, shiny things, clementines, ting, lapsang souchang, creme de cassis, puma, finding old schoolbooks, post it notes, intense political debate, wikipedia, large mugs, digital cameras, steampunk film and art, dubstep, travelling round the world, satisfying clicks, getting ready to go out, bredon house, ladies who are ladies, experimental music, sky sports news, swearing for comic effect, amusing deaths, futons, bluetooth, pulsating lights, matching the wizard of oz with dark side of the moon, christmas tat, british comedy, topman, the mythology of lost, easy pants, powerballs, wine, LUSH radio, chicken meat and chips with chilli and mayo and can i get a bit of salad with that aswell please, cheers mate, gap years, resonance, broadband, walkers multipacks, the satisfaction of cooking and eating your own food, sunshine, old clothes you didnt like but now do, dogs, tourette's syndrome, sonic 3, email, late nights, and blind optimism.

I'd like to meet:

Russell Brand Steve Coogan Ray Mears Noel Fielding John Peel Simon Amstell Survival expert Myke Hawke Louis Theroux Former Senator Mike Graveli like people who are interesting, open minded, nonjudgemental and a good laugh...if all you do with your days is work, then get drunk and watch tv...rack off! Oh and open minded is the key.............. ..

Music:

Would keep a huge list but i'll just end up repeating myself! I like everything from indie (REAL indie, not that chart shit) to IDM, grindcore to gabber, drum and bass to death metal, art rock to ambient, techno to thrash punk. The shiz you need to hear right now is DUBSTEP, its gonna explode and its gonna eat your chest. Guilty pleasures of mine include the reverend JT, the only RnB act actually doing something inventive, and the horrors, who are oh so very scene, but actually pretty good. I do however fucking hate - the killers, the kooks, razorlight, and most passionately of all james blunt. Beige music for bored housewives. Far superior things you need to be hearing include: good shoes, pull tiger tail, metric, beirut, brakes, art brut, forward russia, the maccabees, youthmovies, cats and cats and cats, CSS, bromheads jacket, jeniferever, the $hit, kromestar, skream, benga, nettle, venetian snares, antipop consortium, GM grimm, immortal technique, the bug, robots in disguise, death cab for cutie, the cribs, the young knives, MF Doom, the grates, lightning bolt, i am no finland, thedeathset, xerox teens, ninja high school, the shins, tiga, the spinto band, clap your hands say yeah, portishead, massive attack, yeah yeah yeahs, aphex twin, LFO, air, crimea, be your own pet, maximo park, loefah, blood red shoes, hot club de paris, datarock, new young pony club, the long blondes, guillemots, the mountain goats, just jack, the rapture, the gasman, the pipettes, arcade fire, the pigeon detectives, polysics, to my boy, hot chip, aaron spectre, RJD2, chris t-t, iwasacubscout, help she can't swim, joanna newsom, cold war kids, of montreal, busdriver, maps and atlases, grizzly bear, shiny toy guns, emalkay, the knife, the national, modest mouse, yourcodenameismilo ...enough for now, there are many more.

Movies:

kick ass. especially - oldboy, blow, desperado, the usual suspects, shawshank, festen, the hills have eyes, fight club, ice age 2, con air, the football factory, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, king kong, buffalo soldiers, donnie darko, dodgeball, howl's moving castle, steamboy, akira, requiem for a dream...plenty more i'm sure, but i'm getting quite bored of lists

Television:

The best social commentaries these days are in south park, family guy and the simpsons, which are all wicked....also wicked are partridge, the boooooooosh, arrested development, peep show, arrested development, buzzcocks, monkey dust, jam....and LOST is still fucking amazing - interesting documentaries are bitchin aswell....but mostly, isn't TV wank, really? All you need is DVD boxsets. And youtube... width="425" height="350" ..

Books:

George Orwell - 1984 & Animal Farm, Danny Wallace - Yes Man, John Peel - Margrave of the Marshes, anything by Dan Brown

Heroes:

Above anyone else - John Peel. Bona fide legend. But also Mikeeeee Skinner, Eddie Argos, Nick Drake, Steve Coogan, Whiskas, John Fruiscante, Satan, Adam Hart Davis
