Cricket's the name. Jiminy Cricket. And I am Pinocchio's Official Conscience.That's right, I said Official Conscience. And I have the badge to prove it.The Blue Fairy gave it to me as a gift for leading good 'ol Pinoke down the straight and narrow and away from temptation. It was after I helped Pinocchio to become a real boy that I was given the opportunity to help guide other wayward children as well. This opportunity came in the form of a television show for the Walt Disney Company. I appeared on the Mickey Mouse Club as a host for several shorts titled "I'm No Fool". These shorts dealt with educating children on the importance of safety in everyday life. I have also appeared in a number of movies, all of which can be found under the movie category on this site. These days I appear regularly on the television show "The House of Mouse" and in the "Kingdom Hearts" video games. I also make regular appearances in Disneyland and Walt Disney World, signing autographs and dancing in the parades.
Among everything else I'm involved in, I still find the time to run "Jiminy Cricket's Environmental Challenge"; a partnership between Disney, the California Environmental Interagency Network and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that promotes environmental education throughout the state of California.
