Rencie

Uwajima, here I come.

About Me

I grew up in Panama (both sides of the isthmus --- my dad was a pilot for the Canal) and I also lived in Stockholm, Sweden for three years, working a variety of jobs there including being a deejay and rock journalist of sorts. Bands/Artists I’ve interviewed: Coldplay, Travis, Ash, Idlewild, The Crash Test Dummies, The Sahara Hotnights, International Noise Conspiracy, Andreas och Jag, Knut from Euroboys/ Turbonegro, Håkan Hellström, Matthew Jay, The City Seeds, and Chris Robison (New York Dolls). I've applied for a position to teach English in Japan with the JET program. I'm hoping to be placed in Fukuoka City or Shimonoseki. I'm interested in networking with past/current/aspiring JETS and teachers and I'd also be delighted to make some more Japanese penpals. I occasionally publish freelance articles in the Sierra Vista Herald. Currently, I work with an organization whose purpose is to mitigate the overdraft in the Sierra Vista subwatershed.
