Because tomorrow the sun will rise. Who knows what the tide could bring?

About Me

I like the outdoors, active things, running, working out, shopping, movies, travelling, books, hanging out with my friends. I like art, good music. I love artists, but I know that "The true artist will let his wife starve, his children go barefoot, his mother drudge for his living at seventy, sooner than work at anything but his art". I love my pets. "Animals are my friends... and I don't eat my friends"(Bernard Show). I'm not a vegetarian!

My Interests

I'd like to do nothing in my life

I'd like to meet:

Winston Churchill and Peter Pan

Music:

depends on my mood, i love pop music too.

Movies:

Four Weddings and a Funeral, The Full Monty, A Fish Called Wanda, Alfred Hitchcock, Shakespeare in Love, A Clockwork Orange, Tea with Mussolini, anything by Peter Greenaway, anything by Fellini, American beauty, Dead Man, Cast Away, Flatliners. Some quotes I like - I think that every artist dreams of renewing the forms which came before, but I think very few can be considered to have achieved that. We are all dwarves standing upon the shoulders of the giants who preceded us, and I think we must never forget that. After all, even iconoclasts only exist with respect to that which they destroy, - Peter Greenaway. I think that films or indeed any art work should be made in a way that they are infinitely viewable; so that you could go back to it time and time again, not necessarily immediately but over a space of time, and see new things in it, or new ways of looking at it, - Peter Greenaway.I love also HOOK by Steven Spielberg. "Every time someone cheats, a fairy dies"... I like this quote so much "You know you're not really Peter Pan, don't you? This is only a dream. When you wake up, you'll just be Peter Banning - a cold, selfish man who drinks too much, who's obsessed with success, and runs and hides from his wife and children".

Books:

Borges, Marques, Kafka, Sartre, Sagan, Albert Camus, French poetry, James Joyce, Goldsworthy's "The Forsythe Saga", George Bernard Show, Oscar Wilde, James M. Barrie's Peter Pan.

Heroes:

Winston Churchill and Peter Pan.
