I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I hate to shave, but do so out of obligation. My friends describe me as the quintessential wacky best friend (think Skippy from "Family Ties", Kimmy from "Full House", Buddy from "Charles In Charge"). I think I fit in this group because my name ends in "y".I only have one real addiction: CDs. (All catagorized and in alphabetical order, of course). I also collect antique thermoses and lunchboxes.I'm Jewish, which just explains so much. I also fell on my head as a six year old, which explains even more.I have an obsession with kitch, mainly cultural phenomena that apexed too quickly (Gotta love those fifty-cent words). My favorites include: "Charlie's Angels" (old school - Kate, Jaclyn and Farrah), "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and really bad 80's movies (ie - "Just One Of The Guys").That's about me in a nut-shell. I am always willing to talk about myself (what can I say, I'm an Aries), so please feel free to drop a line and ask my anything.Don't forget to tip your waitress, and try the veal. It's yummy. Politically incorrect, but yummy nonetheless.(apparently I love parenthesis)

My Interests

Driving at night, Good Conversation, Marlboro Lights, Beer (what else is there in life?)

I'd like to meet:

An intelligent, funny, witty, slightly dorky, relationship minded, adult for dating or friendship - this has proven more elusive than you would think.

Music:

all over the map - from showtunes to rock to pop to vocals.

Movies:

My two favorite movies are "All About Eve" and "The Last Days of Disco" - that should give you a gauge as to my movie tastes.

Television:

Bring on a "Law & Order: SVU" marathon, and I am a happy camper.

Books:

I read a lot - everyone pick up "Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs" - it's an amazing book. Currently into memiors (reading "Oh, The Glory Of It All" now), and history books (just read "Ladies And Gentlemen, The Bronx is Burning" about 1977 in NY - the year of Reggie Jackson, Son of Sam, and the blackout)

Heroes:

Captain America - he fought for good, not evil.
