Yes, hi. If you're thinking about adding me as a friend, go ahead. But message me stating who you are, how you found me, and how I know you.My name is Sam. I'm seventeen as of... last year? yes. I haven't had a birthday since last year. I live in Canada, I am blonde, hazel-eyed, and very short. I haven't even topped five feet yet! Meh. I'll get there soon. Only one inch to go, really. I'm a huge J-rocker, and if you don't like my music, you can listen to the music of my foot up your butt (some of you'd like that... ) Just kidding. But please don't rag on my music, I'm a diehard fan of a few certain ones and I tend to get insulted on their account. I'm generally happy-go-lucky, but I do get crabby sometimes. After all, I'm not perfect. I play bass guitar and sing, but I'm not in a band. I manage a band, though.I change nothing major about myself for anyone, because I am who I am and I don't want to be anyone else. I like to be strange, and I believe I finally found someone who loves me not in spite of my oddness, but because of it.I don't have a designated style- I dress how I please, thank you. Some people have a poor habit of making rude comments like "Oh Sam! You're wearing colour today!" Yes. I wear colour. I'm not a freak of nature for having a variety that includes black. I like variety, it helps me dress according to how I feel that day.

My Interests

Music(J-rock), romance, writing, poetry, reading, dancing, gymnastics, partying, quiet time, being alone (but not in a public place it makes me feel depressed), anime/manga, roleplay, daydreaming, sleeping, eating... the list goes on.

I'd like to meet:

ONLINE:
People who have similar interests as me, and people who aren't overly-dramtic or stupid. Literate people. I like to be able to have lasting conversation without having to translate bad spelling. I don't care about age in friends.

IN PERSON:
Celebrities. Always a pleasure ~.^ I think I'd prefer to meet my J-rock favorites.
Maybe Sitha one day in the future. *shrug* we'll just see how our online friendship plays out, no? ^.^ O.O .

Books:

Anything by R.A. Salvatore, J.K. Rowling, and J.R.R. Tolkien. I also like Dean Koontz and Stephen King. I've read "The Hobbit" about thirty times... and "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" twelve times. My favorite books came in one, "The Dark Elf Trilogy" by R.A. Salvatore.

Heroes:

Matsumoto Hideto (Hide). He was a good person, an amazing guitarist and a wonderful friend to those he knew.
Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter. He's my hero- he does all the things I'll never have the guts or idiocy to do. I love the guy, he's always so happy and wonderful. Rest in peace, Steve.
My parents. They've survived everything the world's thrown at them and managed to stay happy and love each other.
Drizzt Do'Urden. Though he's a book character, I admire his determination to find his place in the unaccepting world he lives in.
Samwise Gamgee. Another book character... he's loyal to his best friend and is the rock that that friend needed in the end. He was strong even when he was frightened and sad, and was willing to die for or with Frodo.
