I'm very very happily married to an AWESOME artist (www.villafanestudios.com) and we have a gazillion kids (truly, just had number 6!) and if that wasn't enough, we are now sponsoring an exchange student from Germany, her name is Pia and she's an absolute doll who fits into our family wonderfully. Lots of people think we are crazy (we are) but our life is never uneventful. Friends and family have always been number one in my life and in many cases there is no distinguishment between the two. Prior to meeting my husband and best friend, I was a career mom, running a law office, who spent her non-kid weekends supporting local talent in the Metro Detroit area and let me tell ya, there is a lot out there and bunches of very cool people. I had a blast over the years watching concerts, meeting, and hanging with local artist as well as out of town guests bringing in what they got to the Big D.
I've always had a fondness for talented/eccentric/creative/wild people and try to instill acceptance and appreciation in my kids for the qualities people possess and try to steer them away from passing negative judgements. I have a strong appreciation for what shines in people and enjoy mingling, meeting people and having fun. Of course those days are fewer and further between as most of my mingling is done with my husband and kids now but I've definately lived! I've been so incredibly blessed throughout my life and and I thank God for all things wonderful I've gotten to experience and the fact that he continues to bless me daily with love, friends, health and happiness. Life has changed so much for me in the past few years, but all for the best. I've now traded my support of musical talents for the support of my incredibly talented husband who is now an exclusive sculptor for DC Comics ( 1 of only 5 under contract!) he was previously making collectibles and action figures for Marvel Comics, Sony Pictures, MacFarlane Toys and Sideshow Collectibles. Now instead of concerts, it's sculpting, toy and collectible conventions. A little different, but very cool. Superman & Batman now pay our bills! I'm still very much a music advocate who attempted to encourage my kids to start their own little garage band. (Bought the drums, guitars, amps, keyboards) Course, it would help if I could contribute something more then appreciation for good music... Oh well, we have fun making noise anyway. I'm always looking forward to what life is going to bring next!

And I'm annoyed that I even have to write this part but I'm just astounded by those who ignore the writing in black and white/pink, then send me emails hitting on me and expecting a reply. SHOW SOME RESPECT! Happily married means that I am HAPPILY MARRIED, I don't find it flattering to get emails from men pretending not to notice, I find it rude and disrespectful, so just don't do it! Thanks! :)
AND MAKE SURE TO TAKE A GOOD LISTEN TO MY SONG! IT'S MY OLDEST SONS ("UNOFFICIAL" FOSTER KID) MUSIC! IT'S GOOD STUFF! HE'S GIVIN' WHAT HE'S GOT!
