CONTRAST GRAY - A BRIEF HISTORY
During the summer of 2003, Contrast Gray (originally formed as Lotus) came together with one goal in mind...to become one of the best damn ROCK bands in their hometown of Knoxville, TN. They wasted no time and quickly set out to make a name for themselves. With the release of their 2004 CD, "Lost in Reality", they earned rave reviews from fans, club owners and radio stations alike and the word spread that their energetic live show was something that you did not want to miss!
After four years together, they accomplished a lot for just a little garage band from Knoxville. They released their 2nd CD, "To the Point of Chaos", in 2006 and over the years opened for such national acts as Crossfade, 30 Seconds to Mars, Luna Halo, needtobreathe, Operator and Strata and easily became one of the most recognizable names in town.
But all good things come to an end. In the summer of 2007, the members of CG parted ways to try their hands at other projects. Keep your eyes (and ears) open for something new.
