Jam & Toast was started in 2006 by Laura Donohue and JR Arostegui. The goal is to provide a space for singers, songwriters, musicians and music lovers of ALL kinds to come together, get to know eachother and share music in a fun, casual, no-pressure environment. This is not a place to "perform", but rather to share who you are and what you do. You never know who will be there...you might just meet your next co-writer, band member or even producer. Many collaborations have already been formed between attendees.
There is a piano on-site and someone always has a guitar if you need to borrow.
Light snacks, water and coffee are provided. Bring your own Beer or Wine, but please, no hard liquor.
The Laura Donohue Studio is not responsible for the consumption of alcohol, but does reserve the right to dismiss those who abuse it.
