Don't let yesterday use up too much of today!

About Me

Accepting that true happiness does exist, even if it takes four decades to prove otherwise.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxAlways felt like I was born a few decades late - Longed for a simpler time."Be impeccable in your word, don't take things personally, don't assume and always do your best" - wisdom of the Toltec. That wisdom is how I've tried to lead my life. Often I faltered but at least I tried.Always believed that you should never knowingly hurt anyone, emotionally or physically. For those that prefer what others would say about me, I'll sum it up with what I was recently told: "Your the first one everyone calls when they need something, and usualy the last called to hangout with". I take that as a complement. Few understand, but those are the few that I can keep closest.

My Interests

Understanding that the past cannot be changed and allowing myself to find peace in that knowledge.

I'd like to meet:

"Never spend too much time with people you wouldn't be willing to die with, otherwise your waisting your life" Profound words stated by someone that's proven how true they are ......................... Opps, this is "I'd like to meet": Nobody and everyone..........that's who I'd like to meet. Treat me with honesty and integrity, and I'll do the same. Otherwise don't bother wasting your breath. Just remember, "Everyone who is interesting has a past".

Music:

Rockabilly/psychobilly, swing, industrial, goth, punk, rock, blues.....ok, I like whatever fits my mood........isn't that what music is all about?

Movies:

My movie choices are just like my music choices, whatever fits my mood.

Television:

Wish I could say "kill your TV", but it's my main source of time wasting. Bit of a channel hopper, but can't stand reality show's. If you want reality, why not just live it.

Books:

I've got a shelf full and yes I've read them all.

Heroes:

Heroes belong in the minds and imagination of children. With time it is an honorable mans quest to be a hero, not to have them.

Lesson in perspective

Old

I saw a small man, gnome-like in the way he was stooped. His nose and earlobes were over-large and his face so wrinkled as to obscure the person he once was. He walked the slow walk of someone who dis...
