About Me

ONE! One hep cat, boppin' around. It ain't enough, he keeps his ear to the ground. TWO! Two hep cats shakin' it up. It's pretty good but it still ain't enough. THREE! Three cats, yeah, that's all right. Three mighty, mighty men can rock it all night. FOUR! What? There ain't four. Three's all we need, there ain't no more!~THE TIP TOP TRIO~ROCKABILLY ROCKETS!~Sacramento's own rockinist rockabilly troupe, The TIP TOP TRIO have been makin' the lists and rockin' them twice since their formation early this year. Well known in only the roundest rockabilly circles (no squares allowed!) they play originals and covers in classic rockabilly fashion but with a wild abandon and crazy energy. The trio consists of rhythm guitarist and singer, Dick Dice; lead guitarist and singer, Hot Wire Hot Rod; and bassist and singer Zack B. Hectic. The trio first met during a probe abduction by a race of alien Presleys from the planet Peanutbutternanna. In between hunka hunka burning examinations the boys discovered their mutual love of classic rockabilly music and decided if they ever managed to escape their alien captors they would form the best rockabilly band in the history of this or any other known universe. Their chance came when they managed to create an extremely powerful chemical weapons bomb fashioned entirely out dirty laundry and a few old prophylactics. With the aliens easily overpowered the trio comandeered the vessel (re-christened the "Rockabilly Rocket") and made their way home to earth, playing every dive, honky tonk, and cat-house the universe had to offer along the way. Back on earth and rocket-powered the Tip Top Trio are ready bring the rockabilly rhythm and bring it good to your town, city, dale, village, hamlet or hep-cat commune. Book them! Book them now! Before their fingers fall off!-This press release paid for by The Committee To Employ The Tip Top Trio (committee members: Dick Dice, Hot Wire Hot Rod, Zack B. Hectic and the hippy hippy hipster, Melissa Callaway. And Yehudi).~THE TIP TOP TRIO~GIT CAT!~ CONTACT THE BAND HERE OR AT [email protected] THANKS!
