A South Carolina rapper, john-john is altering the hip-hop music scene with his self-produced debut album, ALL I DO and his avant-garde new direction for hip-hop music: This young dirty-south rapper is a Berklee College of Music graduate, producer, drummer and a phenomenal entertainer. A lyrical rapper inspired by, Method Man, john-john started his music journey at the early age of 8, when he got his first drum set. At 14 he was writing lyrics. At 18, he was composing and touring with the likes of Bow Wow, Avant, Lil Romeo, Ceelo, Madusa and Super Natural. Charting a new direction in hip-hop music, John-John has recently created his own ‘live band’ adding yet another dimension to his unique sound. When I perform with the band it is pleasing to all audiences. For example, we play some of my southern-style songs with a rock feel, but it still has the down south bounce to it.
