DJ Monaco is a light in San Francisco. Having just relocated in the Bay Area he is excited to continue his music career. His style is really ecclectic and unique, a blend of new progressive house, electro & tribal elements with ancient cues from around the globe. He loves trying new things. He began performing when he was 3 years old and has traveled extensively with music. His interests in music began with orchestras, choirs and dance groups. Then he discovered the club scene in Montreal that inspired him to want to be a channeler and creator of electronic music. He believes in the healing power of dance music and the cathardic release of dancing. It's like yoga with a louder soundtrack! He has performed at festivals, parties, clubs and on the radio for many years. Monaco has worked directly with many artists from NYC, Boston, & Montreal, including CRAIG MITCHELL (TWISTED RECORDS), DJ RICHIE SANTANA, DJ BORIS (PACHA-NYC), & DJ PAULA PEDROZA. He is inspired by DJs Sander Kleinenberg, Peter Bailey, Jaimy, Paulo, and Chus&Ceballos. He is open to the spiritual side of dance music and how it may take one on a journey within one's self .
