Pleasure Dead Cell are a band local to the alternative music scene in Romford, although it is hard to categorize them to any group or genre, with heavy guitar riffs, commanding drums, thumping bass and warm/natural vocals the band are more than difficult to label. Fronted by Paul Lambert (vocals/guitar) who formed the band in 2003 along with friend’s Brad Russell (bass) and Alan Dungate (guitar) the trio have had their work cut out finding a drummer to gel with. Having had spells with talented drummers and not so good auditions the band was pretty much stationary, until the guys caught wind of a hard hitting local drummer by the name of Richard Dellow. With a different background of drumming that PDC were not used to it gave the band more intensity. With a hand full of rehearsals the band started playing shows in and around Romford, some better than others but all positive none the less. At the moment pleasure dead cell are building a good vibe around them, with word of mouth spreading in their favour and solid performance after solid performance they are given solid exposure to bigger music scenes.
