Daniel Devlin began acting at the age of eleven, starring in plays such as Pinnochio, Fiddler on the Roof, and several other after school theatrical productions. A natural born star, Daniel entered show biz at the age of two, winning second place in a contest for Johnson & Johnson and Gerber, which landed him a year long modeling contract.
Daniel spent his early teens living in various cities in the northeast, finally settling in Philadelphia where he put his energy into sports, fashion, women, music and politics. While Daniel enjoyed these ventures, he realized his real passion was acting. The next years would be filled with ups and downs as Daniel ended an engagement with a woman five years his senior and began hustling $350.00 a night to establish himself financially. While Daniel hesitates to discuss this period of his life he does admit that he was too young to get married at the time, and had to give up his hustle for his dream.
The re-focused Daniel attended college and landed a role in the Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck film Jersey Girl. Due to the “Bennifer” split, Daniel's scenes in the film were cut (Daniel was still paid well). However, being the opportunitist and hustler that he is Daniel ran on stage during a taping of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” while he was discussing the movie. Leno felt Daniels’ passion, and instead of calling security offered the Actor/Socialite a seat and talked with him about the film.
Daniel continues to do small roles and has been seen in the television shows “Hack,” “Soul Food,” and the Jenny Jones Show. He has been featured in articles in the internationally distributed Metro, and in Rolling Out a national publication. His current focus is landing a role on a sitcom and running his events planning company Devlin Media Group (A Cohen Commission Company).___________________________________________________ __________________
