Eternal Flame Productions
The CompanyEternal Flame Productions was founded back in 1998. It was an attempt to develop a successful business and to help local artist get into the music business. The name stuck around but progression came to a stop. It wasn't until about August of 2003 that The Arsenist decided to pick up where he left off 5 years prior to that. Investing in some music equipment and researching the entertainment business and marketing practices, leads him to where he is today. The company is still in the development stages however the growth is better than it was when it first started. Expect to see more of Eternal Flame Productions in the future and we thank everyone for their support. The ArsenistThe Arsenist was born December 1979 as Lamar Stevens in Richmond, Virginia. He grew up on the "Southside" part of the city. He started with music when he was in the 4th grade and that was when he learned to play the saxophone. He was also part of the South Richmond Boys Choir. While in the 6th grade he became part of a music group with 3 other friends in the neighborhood and they called themselves "Just Friends." While Lamar was in the 7th grade, the group went to one of the amateur night competitions at the famous Apollo Theater in New York City. While at the competition they placed 3rd and was invited to come back the following week to compete again. Due to decisions made by their parents the group did not make it back. A few years went by and the group lost contact with each other. Lamar then went on to Huguenot High School in Richmond, Virginia. While there he continued his music career and was part of the school's concert, marching, and jazz band. This is also where he began to develop his passion for music creation and production. This is where he met Dutch, who he would become very good friends with. Dutch introduced Lamar to the music game even more, teaching him how to rap and exposing him to the tools he would need to succeed. Lamar graduated in 1997 and by 2001 he decided that rapping wasn't for him but producing was. He took a couple years off and in 2003 he picked up where he left off buying an ASR-X which sparked the flame that had went out for a brief moment. Now he is back with a new game face and a wealth of knowledge and support. Not only is he into producing but now he is also into engineering with hopes to spread to other areas. Currently, he's working with some local artist providing recording services and beats. He is also working on a compilation album title "The Creation of a Masterpiece" which will include members of the Corporation/ M.O.B. Squad and other artist living in the Hampton Roads area.
